Keely in 90 seconds
One course, and nobody in the office chased it
One Day Skipper course, from the booking to the logbook: forms in, balances paid, joining instructions sent, signed off on a phone. Captioned, so it works with the sound off in a busy office.

What the film shows
- 00:00A booking and the forms
It opens the day before a course, with one medical form missing. Then, five months earlier, two friends book a Day Skipper course on the school's own website and pay a 25% deposit by card. Each of them gets their own forms. Anyone with a form missing gets a reminder and signs it on their phone.
- 00:27The balance and joining instructions
Before the course, Keely charges the balance to the card they saved when they booked. If the card can't be charged, they get a link to pay. Then joining instructions arrive on their phone: the boat, the skipper, where to meet, the kit list and an entry for their calendar.
- 00:40Day one: who's ready
On day one, the readiness screen reads 5 of 5 ready: every form in, every balance paid, joining instructions sent, the instructor and the boat allocated. The crew manifest shows who is aboard and who to call.
- 00:50Signed off on a phone
At the end of the course, the instructor records attendance, miles and the outcome on a phone, and it goes in the student's logbook. RYA certificates still come from the RYA.
- 00:59Boats and instructors
Instructor tickets and boat checks have due dates. Assign a boat whose paperwork is late and Keely asks why, then shows the reason on the readiness screen. The film ends the day before the course: this time, nothing is outstanding.
