Sailing Course Online now sells its courses and takes its bookings on Keely, through its own website and its own Stripe account.

If a boat has a lapsed check, or an instructor does not hold the right ticket, Keely warns you and asks for a reason. The reason is kept with the course, ready for an inspection.

Each instructor sees their RYA qualifications and expiry dates on their phone, and adds a renewal when they get one. It counts once the office has checked it. Reminders go out 90, 30 and 7 days before anything lapses.

Students pay a deposit when they book. Keely collects the balance before the course from the card they saved, or sends a link to pay. The order shows every payment, and you can still take one by hand.

Joining instructions go out on their own before the course. Each boat has a crew list you can download. Instructors sign students off on a phone, and each student gets a logbook entry and a numbered completion record.

Forms open on your school's own address, not ours. Keely sends them after booking, chases anyone who hasn't finished, and shows who is ready for each course.

Take a booking over the phone, then send a link to pay or record cash or a bank transfer. It sits in the same diary as online bookings. Cash and bank transfer add nothing to your bill.

Charts, plotters and course packs show how many are left, and warn you before they run out. You choose whether an item keeps selling when it reaches zero.

Each partner school gets a monthly statement of what it sold and what it is owed. When you have paid it, mark it paid, and the date stays with the statement.

Add a section to a page from a set of ready-made layouts, each with a small preview. Text is edited the way you would in a word processor, and you see the page before it goes live.
